As nearly all rechargeable batteries are, this unit was stored at around 60% of a charge. Buying it because I needed it, I was less than thrilled at this fact, but I understood. The instructions said the initial charge takes **24 hours**. Fantastic, I think, as I go to plug it in.

No cable included, though. You need an extension cord. Fine. I find one, and proceed to push the cord onto it. I hear a small click. Success? No. The thing is now broken.

After a big of fiddling with it, I can get it to charge if the cord is juuust right. Upon being greeted with "FL" (instructions say "Full", but I'm pretty sure it means "Fail") I proceeded to try to start my car.

No go, but the unit helpfully beeps to let you know that it didn't work, and to present you as an idiot to any neighbours within earshot.

Do not recommend.
