The product works, but I don't think the gauge is accurate.

The product works, but I don't think the gauge is accurate. First, read the directions, which can be confusing if you don't read them carefully. You have to make sure you close the valve every 10 seconds to get a proper pressure reading. Don't go by the reading while the valve is open. Second, the pressure was not going up, so I kept filling, until when I got to near the end of the canister, the A/C clutch turned off. It would cycle on and off. It wasn't doing that before. I realized I must have put too much refrigerant in. I released some of the refrigerant by pushing down on the pin on the Low Pressure valve, and it started working again.

Pros: My A/C is cold again.

Cons: Tricky instructions. I don't think the gauge is accurate.

      Worked Great!

First, I read the instructions on the back of the can at least 5 times, plus I watched a video online on how to use the product at least 5 times too. Before you begin, read up on how the can is opened and closed. The can has a puncture-type seal, so just read over that part of the instructions carefully so that you understand how to open and close the can using the hose and valve. Turning the valve clockwise with the hose end attached to the can will lower a pin that will puncture the can's seal and thus open it. When you turn the valve back counter clockwise, then that releases the product thru the hose and into your system. Before I began charging my AC system though, I made sure that my AC compressor was running with my AC and Fan both on Max, and I checked the low pressure port side, which was reading about 5psi. Then I just followed the charging instructions exactly as instructed to do so, given that my AC system appeared to be in good working order aside from just being low on 134A (probably got a slow leak somewhere). I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L, and it took almost the entire can to fill it up, but I had some 134A leftover. Now that the can is opened though, I cannot remove the pressure guage hose from it without releasing the 134A, but I'll just store it "as is" in a cool place for the next time. Once the can is empty, then I can remove the hose and guage and attach it to a refill canister for the next time. Last but not least, before charging my system, I replaced my AC cooling fan myself too, after I noticed that it was not spinning when my AC compressor was "on". I just say this becuase if the fan is not spinning, then your AC is going to blow warm air when the vehicle is not moving, such as at stop lights or in traffic. I spent $65 on a fan and $35 on 134A charge - $100 in all to get AC working for the time being, not bad at all I think!

Pros: Comes with a detachable, reusable low pressure port side guage.

Cons: The charging hose is somewhat short, but this was not a problem for my vehicle.
