Once the factory clear coat is gone from your baby's headlights - that's all she wrote. The effects of the sun (especially in Texas, NM & Arizona) start to eat your headlights for lunch. Yellowing and fading of the plastic is inevitable. This kit brings those lights back to life and provides an immediate noticeable result.

First off - follow the directions to the letter. In fact it's a good idea to read all the directions before even starting. Doing so will save you some heartache and keep you from potentially botching a perfectly effective operation.

As I said once your original clear coat is gone nothing can stop the effects of the sun on your lenses. Having said that once this product is applied and turns those headlights shiny again, don't expect them to stay that way. They will eventually start fading and possibly even discolor again. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 9-12 months provided your car is garage kept. Probably a little less for those who for some reason park your expensive cars in the driveway and leave the worthless junk in the garage.

But that's the beauty of this product. For $15 or so it does a damn terrific job and provides almost instantaneous results. Sure you could pay some yahoo riding around in his truck $80 to do the same job that maybe lasts a cpl years, or worse pay the dealer $250 for a permanent job and new clear coat, but the odds are you will not even have your car for as long as it takes you churn thru $250 bucks over the coarse of 10 years at $15 bucks a kit. It's well worth the value in my opinion.
