Compressor guard suction screens protect your compressor from debris left in the suction line by a compressor failure. Install in less than five minutes. Simply place the compressor guard suction screen into the A/C suction hose block or the suction hose manifold when installing the replacement compressor. The compressor guard suction screen’s tapered design traps debris along the filter’s sides. It keeps the center of the hose open for lubricant and refrigerant flow, even if the system has a lot of debris. Flushing cannot remove 100% of this debris. Compressor guard suction screen kits are made for specific compressor models. Each kit contains up to three different screen sizes that are known to fit the different hoses or suction line manifolds.
