Timken seals feature a machined rubber sealing edge that provides greater accuracy and consistency, resulting in a better sealing surface. The flanged design eliminates cocking allowing for easy installation. Timken uses a latex bore coat that seals the outer diameter leak path and helps compensate for minor bore imperfections. The extra dust lip featured on a Timken seal helps to keep dirt and other harmful contaminants, out of the bearing and also protects against rust and corrosion.
