    Removal & Installation
    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
    2.  
    3. Remove rear wiper pivot arm.
    4.  
    5. Remove the lift gate lower trim panel
    6.  
    7. Remove the three rear wiper motor bolts.
    8.  
    9. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    10.  
    11. Remove the rear wiper motor.

    13. To install, reverse the removal procedure and note the following.

    15. Tighten wiper motor mounting bolts to 7 ft. lbs. (10 Nm).

    17. Tighten rear wiper motor pivot arm nut to 11 ft. lbs. (15 Nm).

    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions section.
    2.  
    3. Remove the rear wiper pivot arm.
    4.  
    5. Remove the dust boot cover.
    6.  
    7. Remove the rear window wiper pivot shaft nut and handle.
    8.  
    9. Open the lift gate glass.
    10.  
    11. Remove the nuts and the rear window striker and wiper pivot shaft assembly.
    12.  
    13. Remove the lift gate trim panel.
    14.  
    15. Close the lift gate.
    16.  
    17. If installing a new rear wiper motor, remove the lift gate window glass latch.
      1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
      2.  
      3. Remove the bolts
      4.  

    18.  
    19. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    20.  
    21. Remove the bolts.
    22.  
    23. Remove the rear window wiper motor.
    24.  

    To install:

    1. If installing a new rear wiper motor, install the lift gate window glass latch and tighten mounting bolts to 71 inch. lbs. (8 Nm).
    2.  
    3. Push the rear window wiper striker and pivot shaft assembly into the wiper motor. The pivot shaft pin should be aligned with the hole in the motor disc.
      NOTE
      An audible click should be heard as the striker engages the latch.

    4.  
    5. Install the rear window wiper motor alignment tool. If installing a new rear wiper motor, one is provided with the motor assembly.

    7. Make sure the alignment tool fits over the motor disc and striker assembly.
    8.  
    9. Make sure the alignment tool clips are securely engaged.
    10.  
    11. Install the rear wiper motor and tighten mounting bolts to 8ft. lbs. (11 Nm).
    12.  
    13. Connect the electrical connectors.
    14.  
    15. Carefully close the lift gate glass.
    16.  
    17. Open the lift gate. Install the rear window wiper striker and wiper pivot arm mounting assembly nuts, tighten to 53 inch. lbs. (6 Nm).
    18.  
    19. Close the lift gate.
    20.  
    21. Install the rear window wiper pivot shaft nut and handle, tighten to 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm).
    22.  
    23. Install the dust boot cover.
    24.  
    25. Install the rear wiper pivot arm.
    26.  
    27. Open the lift gate.
    28.  
    29. Remove the rear window wiper motor aligning tool.
    30.  
    31. Open the lift gate glass.
    32.  
    33. Install the lift gate trim panel.
    34.  
    35. Test the lift gate and lift gate glass for normal operation.
