    REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

    See Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4

Place safety glasses over your eyes. The crossover pipe is typically connected to the manifolds by flanged connections or collars. In some cases, bolts that are unthreaded for part of their length are used in conjunction with springs. Make sure you install the springs and that they are in good mechanical condition (no broken coils) when installing the new pipe. Replace ring type seals, also.
