    VCT 'A' solenoid connector is damaged, loose or shorted
     
    VCT 'A' solenoid control circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to power
     
    VCT 'A' solenoid is damaged or the PCM has failed

    Variable Cam Timing Over Advanced (Bank 1)

    Possible Causes:



    Camshaft timing improperly set, or continuous oil flow to the VCT piston chamber

    Possible Causes:



    Check for low coolant level or incorrect coolant mixture

    TP Sensor Circuit Low Input

    Possible Causes:



    TP sensor signal circuit open (inspect wiring & connector)

    TP sensor VREF circuit is open (between the sensor and PCM)
     
    TP sensor is damaged or has failed
     
    PCM has failed
     

    Trouble Code: P0123



    TP Sensor Circuit High Input

    Possible Causes:



    TP sensor not seated correctly in housing (may be damaged)
     
    TP sensor signal is circuit shorted to VREF or system voltage
     
    TP sensor ground circuit is open (check the wiring harness)
     
    Perform a "sensor sweep test" and monitor for any glitches
     
    PCM has failed
     

    Trouble Code: P0125



    Insufficient Coolant Temperature For Closed Loop

    Possible Causes:



    Check the coolant mixture for an incorrect mixture
     
    Check the operation of the thermostat (it may be stuck open)

    HO2S is contaminated (due to presence of silicone in fuel)
     
    HO2S signal and ground circuit wires crossed in wiring harness
     
    HO2S signal circuit is shorted to sensor or chassis ground
     
    HO2S element has failed (internal short condition)
     
    PCM has failed

    HO2S signal shorted to heater power circuit inside connector
