    FTP sensor signal circuit is open, shorted to ground or to power
     
    FTP sensor power circuit is open or shorted to ground
     
    FTP sensor is damaged or has failed
     
    BARO, ECT, IAT, MAF, VSS or TP sensor is out-of-calibration
     
    Fuel tank level sensor is damaged or out-of-calibration
     
    Fuel vapor line(s) kinked or blocked between the CDVC valve and intake manifold, or between the TPCV and the canister

    EVAP System Large Leak (0.080-) Detected

    Possible Causes:



    Fuel filler cap loose, cross-threaded, incorrect part or damaged
     
    Charcoal canister is loaded with fuel or moisture
     
    Purge solenoid may be stuck mechanically in -closed- position
     
    Canister vent (CV) solenoid is stuck open or may be damaged
     
    Fuel vapor control valve tube assembly is restricted or blocked
     
    Fuel vapor vent valve assembly is restricted or blocked
     
    Fuel pressure sensor has failed (i.e., it failed mechanically)
     
    Vapor tube(s) loose, disconnected or blocked to the canister tube, EVAP canister purge outlet tube or the EVAP return tube
     
    PCM has failed
     

    Trouble Code: P0456



    EVAP System Small Leak (0.020-) Detected

    Possible Causes:



    Fuel filler cap loose, cross-threaded, incorrect part or damaged
     
    Small holes or cuts in any of the vapor hoses and/or tubes
     
    CV solenoid stuck part-way open while it is commanded closed
     
    EVAP system component seals leaking at the purge valve, FTP sensor, CV solenoid, fuel vapor control valve or vapor vent tube
     
    Fuel vapor hose or tube connections loose at the component
     
    PCM has failed
     

    Trouble Code: P0457



    EVAP System Gross Leak Detected

    Possible Causes:



    Fuel filler cap does not fit properly (it is the wrong part number)
     
    Fuel filler cap is missing
