    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
    2.  
    3. Set the hub to the free position.
    4.  
    5. Raise and support the vehicle safely.
    6.  
    7. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
    8.  
    9. Remove or disconnect the following:

      Hub
       
      Snapring
       
      Spindle washer
       
      Thrust washer
       

    10.  

    To install:

    1. Install or connect the following:

      Thrust washer
       
      Spindle washer
       
      Snapring
       
      Hub. tighten the bolts to 18-25 ft. lbs. (25-34 Nm).

    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
    2.  
    3. Raise and support the vehicle safely.
    4.  
    5. Remove the tire and wheel assembly.
    6.  
    7. Remove the auto-lock free running hub assembly.
    8.  
    9. Remove the snapring.
    10.  
    11. Remove the spindle washer and fixed cam assembly.
    12.  

    To install:

    1. Place the spindle washer and then the snapring over the axle shaft positioning them between the two locking grooves.
    2.  
    3. While supporting the axle shaft behind the knuckle, use an appropriate sized deep socket to securely seat the snapring into the inner locking groove.
      NOTE
      Visually verify that the snapring is fully seated into the locking groove.

    5. After installation, check operation.
