REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
CAUTION
The clutch driven disc contains asbestos, which has been determined to be a cancer causing agent. Never clean clutch surface with compressed air! Avoid inhaling any dust from any clutch surface! When cleaning clutch surfaces, use a commercially available brake cleaning fluid.
See Figure 1
- Disconnect the clutch pedal arm from the pushrod.
- Disconnect the clutch hydraulic line from the master cylinder.
Take precautions to keep brake fluid from coming in contact with any painted surfaces.
- Remove the nuts attaching the master cylinder and remove the master cylinder and pushrod toward the engine compartment side.
- Install the master cylinder in the reverse order of removal and bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
