    REMOVAL & INSTALLATION




    CAUTION
    The clutch driven disc contains asbestos, which has been determined to be a cancer causing agent. Never clean clutch surface with compressed air! Avoid inhaling any dust from any clutch surface! When cleaning clutch surfaces, use a commercially available brake cleaning fluid.

    See Figure 1

    1. Disconnect the clutch pedal arm from the pushrod.
    2.  
    3. Disconnect the clutch hydraulic line from the master cylinder.
    4.  

    Take precautions to keep brake fluid from coming in contact with any painted surfaces.

    1. Remove the nuts attaching the master cylinder and remove the master cylinder and pushrod toward the engine compartment side.

    3. Install the master cylinder in the reverse order of removal and bleed the clutch hydraulic system.
