Oil Drain Plug

Oil Drain Plug Operation:

A threaded plug, usually on the lowest point of the oil pan, used to drain engine oil from the oil pan sump. The plug will have a soft sealing washer or o-ring to prevent seepage and drips, and some style plugs even contain a small magnet to catch loose metallic particles.

How To Instructions:

Inspect - Check for obvious problems.

Replace - Out with the old, in with the new.
