    CV Half-Shaft (Remanufactured) CCT Operation:

A balanced, rotating shaft located at the front or rear of the vehicle (driver or passenger side) that transfers power from the transaxle or differential unit to the hub and drive wheels. It allows the drive axle to swivel at various angles. It has both inner and outer joints and CV boots. The inner joint is usually a sliding joint to change length during steering motions. The drive axle consists of the splined inner stub shaft, solid intermediate shaft and splined outer stub shaft.
