Temperature Switch

Temperature Switch Operation:

A bi-metal, heat activated, switching device that controls an electrical circuit based on engine metal/coolant temperature. It controls the cooling fan(s), temperature light or gauge, fuel mixture, emissions controls and electronic-control unit functions. It's usually made of brass or stainless steel and uses a tapered pipe thread (NPT) for dependable sealing.
