    Inspect/Replace

    • Tie rod ends link to the center link using a tapered stud.
    • Remove the studs nuts using a socket.
    • Use a tie rod separator to separate the ball sockets from the center link.
    • Reverse the removal procedure to install a new center link.

    Because center links don't need toe-in adjustment, if you have alignment problems after replacing a center link perform a front end alignment.
