Sway Bar Repair Kit and Bushing

    Inspect/Replace

Stabilizer links do not have to be removed to replace the inner bushings. Replacement stabilizer bushings have a split in them. Some original bushings do not have a split. These can be cut off with a razor blade. Then install the new bushing.

    NOTE
When replacing stabilizer bar bushings, be sure that both front wheels are either on the ground or in the air. Otherwise, the sway bar will be spring loaded. With one wheel jacked up, removal of the nut on the top of the stabilizer link could result in a serious injury.
