REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Door Mounted

See Figure 1

  1. Remove the door trim panel.
  2.  
  3. Remove the four speaker retaining screws.
  4.

  1. Disconnect the speaker lead wire connector and remove speaker.
  2.  

To Install:
  1. Connect the speaker lead wire connector.
  2.  
  3. Position speaker to the door panel. Ensure that a watershield protector has been installed first.
  4.  
  5. Install attaching screws.
  6.  
  7. Install door panel on door and check speaker operation.
  8.  

Rear Quarter Mounted

See Figures 2 and 3

  1. Remove the screws or unsnap retaining speaker grille cover and remove the cover.

  1. Remove the screws retaining the speaker to mount.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the speaker lead wire connector and remove speaker.
  4.  

To install:
  1. Connect the speaker lead to the unit.
  2.  
  3. Insert the speaker into the quarter panel, then tighten the mounting screws to 24-32 inch lbs. (2-4 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Place the speaker cover into position and snap shut or screw tight.
  6.  
  7. Check the operation of the speaker.
