REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Remove the floor duct panel.
- Remove the pushpins and release the expander clip.
- Remove the passenger side instrument panel brace retaining nut and bolt.
- Remove the brace.
- Remove the driver's side instrument panel brace lower nut and position the brace aside.
- Remove the three bolts and position the module aside.
- Remove the two floor duct screws (one on each side).
- Remove the floor duct.
- Rotate the vacuum control motor to disconnect the vacuum control motor rod from the panel/floor door.
- Remove the panel/floor door vacuum control motor.
- Disconnect the vacuum line connector.
- Remove the screws.
- Slide the rod out of the door and remove the panel/floor door.
- Detach the connector.
- Remove the retaining screws.
- Pull down to release the actuator shaft and remove the electronic blend door actuator.To install:
- The installation is the reverse of the removal.
- Remove the rear seat floor duct.
- Detach the connector.
- Remove the retaining screws.
- Pull down to release the actuator shaft and remove the electronic actuator.To install:
- The installation is the reverse of the removal.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Release the stops and lower the glove compartment door.
- Detach the connector.
- Remove the electronic blend door actuator and bracket assembly.
- Remove the screw.
- Rotate the blend door actuator and bracket assembly.

Remove the assembly.
CAUTIONPosition the temperature blend door manually to properly align the actuator and the door. Do not power the actuator electrically. If it is not engaged with the temperature blend door, damage to the actuator may occur.
- Installation is the reverse of the removal.
