    Removal & Installation



    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.

    3. Remove the rear disc brake caliper.
      NOTE
      If the rear brake disc binds on the rear parking brake shoe and linings, remove the adjustment hole access plug and contract the parking brake shoe and lining.

    5. Remove the rear brake disc.
    6.  
    7. Measure the rear brake disc, and resurface if the disc surface has been scored. Install a new rear brake disc if below minimum thickness specification.

    9. Installation is the reverse of removal.

    1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.

    3. Remove the rear wheel and tire assembly.
    4.  
    5. Remove the caliper.
    6.  
    7. Remove the disc brake pads.
    8.  
    9. Remove the brake disc.
    10.  
    11. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
      CAUTION
      Make sure to apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange only. Do not allow the lubricant to make contact with the wheel studs, brake pads or brake disc.

    13. Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the wheel hub flange.

    5. Match-mark the brake disc and one stud.

    9. Installation is the reverse of removal.
