    The suspension of the F-150 and Bronco 4-wheel drive models consists of a Dana 44-IFS independent driving axle attached to the frame with two coil springs, two radius arms, and a stabilizer bar.

    The front suspension on an F-250 4-Wheel Drive consists of a Dana 44- or 50-IFS independent driving axle attached to the frame with two semi-elliptic leaf springs. Each spring is clamped to the axle with two U-bolts. The front of the spring rests in a front shackle bracket and the rear is attached to a frame bracket.

    The front suspension on an F-350 4-Wheel Drive consists of a Dana 60 Monobeam one piece driving axle attached to the frame with two semi-elliptic leaf springs. Each spring is clamped to the axle with two U-bolts. The front of the spring rests in a front shackle bracket and the rear is attached to a frame bracket. On the right spring cap, a track bar is attached with the other end mounted on the crossmember.
