    Initial purchase: Fit properly,
Problem 1=defective hardware for the mounting pin/caliper bolt assembly. Store replaced quickly. resulted in second trip. Returned home to mount the caliper assembly. Fit perfect, bolted right in.
Problem 2= Banjo bolt hole in replacement caliper is wrong threads. Unknown as to what they were. Probability of a 99 F350 caliper miss boxed. 2000+ are this part. 99 is visually exact yet the threads are SAE instead of metric. Not a fault of AutoZone, fault is somewhere in the reman process. Had to wait about 45 minutes for a second caliper to be rushed in from a semi-local store. Store staff did everything possible to help. Great customer service, iffy products. When the second caliper arrived we test fit the banjo bolt and if fit properly. Returned home and installed. No problems on second installation. Initial function appears to be satisfactory. Time will tell on durability. The caliper I replaced had 310,000 miles on it.

    Pros: Bolts up well,

Cons: 2 different castings yet only have 1 part number for all

    Brake Caliper Failure After 30k

5 of 5 people found this helpful

I installed these brake calipers on my F250 at around 201,000 miles when the factory calipers started to stick. At 232,000 miles the front right duralast brake caliper is sticking and burning up my brakes. I rarely tow anything so these calipers really should not be failing yet. They are garenteed for life so it should not cost anything, just a pain to have to do this job again, so soon.

    Pros: All required parts

    Cons: Failed after 31K Miles
