2 Compressors with Electrical Connector Issues

When I needed to replace the compressor on my 2007 Altima, this looked like a good unit. The first one I got at the store had a physically broken connector. Had to drive to another store (hour round trip) to pick it up the replacement. No o-rings in this box, so had to go back to original store to get some.

Installation was straight forward and easy. Put in oil, seal, vacuum and charge and it worked well.....for about a few weeks. Then, the compressor wouldn't come on and after checking the fuses (all good), I jiggled the compressor connector and it kicked on. That lasted until the next time I needed to drive, did it again, and again. Wife was not happy.

So, I had to go back to an OEM and returned this one. Another install, vacuum, more a/c refrigerant.

I really wanted this to work, but I had to spend so much more time trying to get it to work that I can't recommend it. I should have thought better before trying it for the second time.

Cons: Electrical connector/wiring went out quick
