Lifetime Warranty on this makes it worth every penny.

If your front AC has quit running altogether, this is most likely the reason. It's a simple fix and pretty much anyone can do it. Be careful when taking out the AC control panel as there are vacuum connections that must be taken off carefully. They are easy to get too as they are directly behind the radio. Don't worry if the small connecting pieces on the vacuum assembly come off. The system will still work after reconnecting. Many times the front AC control switch will be melted and somewhat difficult to remove. Take your time and be patient, you'll be glad you did. the actually plug may need to be replaced too with a new pigtail plug. This plug is usually melted pretty bad but can still be used if you take precautions. The lifetime warranty of this switch is priceless. Unfortunately these switches seem to go out when it's the hottest outside. When they go, they complete stop the front AC from blowing at all. Replacement takes about 20-30 minutes and can be done by anyone with common sense. Autozone has the best brands for this switch and they do last a long time. If you are overwhelmed at where to start, first start by taking out the 2 screws in the dash above the steering console and gauges. Also don't forget to removes the headlights pull buttons and unscrew the surround piece. With a little effort the panel pulls off without much force, too much force and you'll break the panel. The radio should be able to be pulled out as well with little to no effort. Most radio frames are not connected with screws, they just snapped into place. From there there are 3 screws to remove the AC control panel and then some quick disconnects of all the electrical wires and the vacuum connector. Once you get to the back, its a one screw removal and then twist the switch off and then replace with the new one. you can then test the system to see if it works after reconnecting all the electrical and vacuum plugs. If you get no air blowing, the vacuum plug isn't sealed on the back panel. You can easily secure it with a little effort from the radio opening. Once it is all working again properly, screw everything back together and carefully push the paneling back into place. Don't forget to put all knobs and the headlight switch back together. Replace the two screws above the steering wheel and you're done. This AC switch last a long time but can burn out quickly if you change the speeds often. That's why the lifetime warranty is so valuable. Don't be intimidated by the whole thing, it's a very easy and quick fix and can save you over $150 by doing it yourself.

Pros: Direct replacement and better quality than OEM part

Cons: You may need to also purchase a replacement plug pigtail if it is severely melted.
