Works perfectly - must be bled properly

Some people say that you can not bleed one of these clutch systems, or that you have to remove the master cylinder and bench bleed it, but I was successful in bleeding the system in the truck. It was challengeing, but it was worth it. After trying a few different methods, here's how I did it: 1) Remove the old slave cylinder.2) Connect the new slave cylinder to hose, but do not install it onto the bellhousing. 3) Holding the slave cylinder so that the actuator rod is facing straight down, cut the plastic shipping retainers on the slave cylinder rod and push it ALL the way in (I pushed it by hand against a board so I would not damage the nylon tip).. 4) Have someone GENTLY pump the clutch pedal until the piston is 99.999% of the way out - CAUTION - if you let it, the slave cylinder will go too far and break the retaining clip and ruin the slave cylinder!! 5) After the person lets the clutch pedal all the way up, push the slave cylinder ALL the way back in. 6) Repeat this process until no air bubbles come back up into the reservoir. IMPORTANT - make sure the clutch master cylinder reservoir is full of fluid at all times - it does not hold much and it is easy for it to get air back in the system and then you wil have to start all over again! 7) After there is no more air, again extend the rod but this time only about 75%. 8) While someone holds the clutch pedal down, install the slave cylinder onto the bellhousing. 9) Test the clutch, if it does not disangage properly, remove the slave cylinder again and this time extend it more before reinstalling it on the bellhousing. I did this along with installing a new Duralast clutch kit and it drives and shifts like a new truck!
