Good single season use winter blade but your experience may differ

1 of 1 people found this helpful

Does an OK job as a winter blade repelling ice from forming on the wiper. It does seem to have an inconsistent wipe area based on the direction of travel in the up -> down cycle; e.g. on my 2013 Camaro the up wipe misses the top edge but then wipes completely on the down stroke. I am very pleased to report very little chattering, maybe a couple of times this past season with all the cold, ice and snow.

It has survived the Chicago winter of 2013-2014 without failure, but I will try a different brand for 2014-2015 unless redesigned. However, it is a nice blade for the price just do not have very high expectations on highly curved windshields.

Pros: Winter blade, very little chatter and price

    Cons: Inconsistant wipe on edges

    simply does not work

1 of 1 people found this helpful

I bought this for the winter and was disappointed to find that the wiper simply misses a section of my windshield. I returned the defective blade and found the replacement had a similar issue but now directly in front of my view. I thought maybe by wiper arm was bent but after using a new blade I concluded that the duralast blades just didn't work for my 08 Subaru impress.

    Pros: fits

Cons: does not make contact with entire windshield
