      Seriously Cool

The color-shift paint is really cool and works when you follow the directions and take your time. I started by painting my part with a semi-gloss black spray-paint. After about 10 minutes, while the black was still tacky, I started the color-shift application. DON'T TRY TO COAT IT ALL AT ONCE!! Use several light coats, letting each coat dry for about 5 minutes. The more coats you put on, the more the color-shift effect works. When you're satisfied with your paint job, get some Rust-o-leum crystal clear acrylic spray and put about 4-5 coats on, letting each one dry to a tacky feel. Also, do this in direct sunlight if you can. It will help the drying/curing. Wait about 24 hours for the part to dry, then reassemble. Finally, if you really want your part to look good, get some 1000 grit sand paper and lightly sand the clear coat. Don't worry, it'll look like you've completely screwed it up, but you haven't. Once you've got the part really smooth, get some Turtle Wax buffing compound (in the green bottle) rub it all over the part, like you're waxing it. Then take a clean dry cloth and polish it out. Do this about 3-4 times and your part will look like you took it Chip Foose.

Pros: Really cool effect without the price of professional paint

Cons: Price is a little high.
