-VSS malfunction
 
-Connector or terminal malfunction
 
-Intermittent signal inputs from other sources (Ignition harness)

-Short to ground circuit between VSS sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 33
 
-Open circuit between VSS sensor terminal Band PCM terminal 58
 
-Short to ground circuit between VSS sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 58
