  1. Adjust the clutch free-play at the release lever by turning the adjusting nut (at the transaxle). The clutch pedal height should be:

1986-89-5.87 (149mm)
 
1990-93-6.97 (177mm)
 

  1. Make sure there is 0.16-0.20 in. (4.0-5.0mm) of free-play at the tip of the release arm after the adjustment.
  2.  
  3. If equipped with cruise control, turn the adjuster (above the clutch pedal) until the clutch pedal stroke is:

1986-89-5.51-5.71 in. (140-145mm)
 
1990-93-5.59-5.79 in. (142-147mm)
 

  1. Tighten the locknut securely.
  2.

  1. Loosen the locknut on the clutch pedal switch and back off the switch until it does not touch the pedal.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the locknut on the clutch master cylinder pushrod. Turn the pushrod in or out to obtain the correct stroke and height at the clutch pedal.
  4.  



Stroke at pedal-5.7-5.9 in. (145-150mm)
 
Clutch pedal free-play-0.040-0.280 in. (1.0-7.0mm)
 
Clutch pedal height to floor-7.0 in. (179mm)
 

  1. Tighten the locknut on the clutch master cylinder pushrod.
  2.  
  3. Screw the clutch pedal switch until it contacts the pedal.
  4.  
  5. Turn the switch another 1 / 4 - 1 / 2 turn. Tighten the locknut.

  1. Tighten the locknut on the clutch master cylinder pushrod.

  3. Screw the clutch pedal switch until it contacts the pedal.

  5. Turn the switch another 1 / 4 - 1 / 2 turn. Tighten the locknut.

  1. Tighten the locknut on the clutch master cylinder pushrod.

  3. Screw the clutch pedal switch until it contacts the pedal.

  5. Turn the switch another 1 / 4 - 1 / 2 turn. Tighten the locknut.

CLUTCH CABLE



Integra
  1. Measure the clutch pedal disengagement height.
  2.  
  3. Measure the clutch pedal free-play.
  4.  
  5. Adjust the clutch pedal free-play by turning the adjusting nut. Be sure there is 0.16-0.20 in. (4.0-5.0mm) free-play at the tip of the release arm after the adjustment.
  6.  
  7. Turn the adjusting nut right or left to bring the clutch pedal stroke to the proper specification and then tighten the locknut to 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm).
