ADJUSTMENT



Air Mix Cable
1986-89 INTEGRA
  1. Slide the air temperature control lever to the HOT position.
  2.  
  3. Open the air mix door in front of the heater core. Connect the end of the cable to the arm.
  4.  
  5. Gently slide the cable housing back from the end enough to take up the slack in the cable, but not enough to make the dashboard lever move. Snap the cable housing into the clamp.
  6.  
  7. After the adjustment, make sure that the heater valve cable is properly adjusted.
  8.  

1990-93 INTEGRA
  1. Slide the air temperature control lever to the COOL position.
  2.  
  3. Open the air mix door in front of the heater core. Connect the end of the cable to the arm.
  4.  
  5. Gently slide the cable housing back from the end enough to take up the slack in the cable, but not enough to make the dashboard lever move. Snap the cable housing into the clamp.
  6.  
  7. After the adjustment, make sure that the heater valve cable is properly adjusted.
  8.  

Heater Valve Cable
1986-89 INTEGRA
  1. Slide the air temperature control lever to the COOL position.
  2.  
  3. Close the heater valve fully, connect the end of the heater cable to the valve arm and secure the cable housing with the clamp.
  4.  

1990-93 INTEGRA
  1. Slide the air temperature control lever to the COLD position.
  2.  
  3. Close the heater valve fully, connect the end of the heater cable to the valve arm and secure the cable housing with the clamp.
  4.  

Cool Vent Cable
1986-90 LEGEND
  1. Slide the cool vent control lever to the SHUT position.
  2.  
  3. Close the cool vent door fully and connect the end of the cool vent cable to the door arm.
  4.  
  5. Snap the cable housing into the clamp.
  6.  
  7. Check that the cable moves smoothly and that the door fully opens and closes when operating the control lever.
  8.  

Heat Control Cable
1986-90 LEGEND
  1. Turn the temperature control dial to the max HOT position.
  2.  
  3. Open the air mix door and connect the end of the heat control cable to the arm.
  4.  
  5. Snap the cable housing into the clamp.
  6.  
  7. Check that the cable moves smoothly and that the door fully opens and closes when operating the control lever.
  8.
