Intermittent Wiper Relay

Print

The intermittent wiper function is controlled by either a specialized control unit or the integrated control unit. The integrated control unit controls other timed functions as well as the wipers.

On the 1986-89 Integra, the wipers are controlled by a relay located at the top left of the under dash fuse panel. On the 1990-93 Integra, the function is controlled by the integrated control unit located in the fuse and relay panel at the left kick panel.

The wipers are controlled by a wiper control unit in the 1986-90 Legend, located under the dash behind the lower trim panel. The 1991-93 Legend uses a relay located in the center of the relay panel in the engine compartment. This relay is controlled by the integrated control unit located in the fuse and relay panel at the left kick panel. The Vigor is similar to the 1990-93 Legend, but the intermittent relay is located at the front of the engine compartment.
