Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2009-2010

  1. Turn ignition switch ON.
  2.  
  3. Perform -FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE- in -WORK SUPPORT- mode with CONSULT-III.
  4.  
  5. Start engine.
  6.  
  7. After engine stalls, crank it two or three times to release all fuel pressure.
  8.  
  9. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  10.

Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2007-2008

  1. Lift up the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Turn ignition switch ON (READY).
  4.  
  5. Depress the accelerator pedal and keep it.
  6.  
  7. Shift the selector lever to N position with engine running.
    CAUTION
    Never leave the selector lever in the N position for a long period of time. In the N position, the engine operates but electricity cannot be generated.

  8.  
  9. Perform -FUEL PRESSURE RELEASE- in -WORK SUPPORT- mode with CONSULT-III.
  10.  
  11. After engine stalls, turn ignition switch OFF.
  12.

Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2009-2010

  1. Remove fuel pump fuse located in IPDM E/R.
  2.  
  3. Start engine.
  4.  
  5. After engine stalls, crank it two or three times to release all fuel pressure.
  6.  
  7. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  8.  
  9. Reinstall fuel pump fuse after servicing fuel system.
  10.

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
  2.  
  3. Remove fuel pump fuse located in IPDM E/R.
  4.  
  5. Turn ignition switch ON (READY).
  6.

  9. After engine stalls, turn ignition switch OFF.
  10.  
  11. Reinstall fuel pump fuse after servicing fuel system.
