Removal & Installation



Front Lower Link

Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2009-2010

  1. Remove the front lower link nut and bolt from the knuckle side and the adjusting bolt and nut from the suspension member side.
    NOTE
    Do not reuse the adjusting nut, use a new adjusting nut for installation.

  3. Remove the front lower link.
  4.  

To install:

  1. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE
    Do not reuse the adjusting nut, use a new adjusting nut for installation.

  3. Check the rear wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
  4.  

Radius Rod

Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2009-2010


NOTE
Refer to Exploded View of Rear Suspension while servicing this component.

  1. Remove the rear suspension assembly.
  2.  
  3. Remove the radius rod.
  4.  

To install:

  1. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
  2.  
  3. Check the rear wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
  4.  

Rear Lower Link

Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2009-2010

Refer to Coil Spring Removal and Installation when servicing this component.

Suspension Arm

Specific to:

Nissan Altima 2009-2010


NOTE
Refer to Exploded View of Rear Suspension while servicing this component.

  1. Remove the rear suspension assembly.
  2.  
  3. Remove the connecting rod bracket from the suspension arm.
  4.  
  5. Remove the two suspension arm bolts and nuts from the suspension member side of the suspension arm.
  6.  
  7. Remove the ball joint cotter pin and lock nut.
    NOTE
    Discard the cotter pin, use a new cotter pin for installation.

  8.  
  9. Remove the suspension arm from the knuckle using Tool HT2520000 (J-25730-A).
    CAUTION
    Do not damage ball joint when removing.

  10.  

To install:

  1. Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE
    Discard the cotter pin, use a new cotter pin for installation.

  3. Check the rear wheel alignment and adjust if necessary.
  4.
