Periodic lubrication will prevent squeaky, hard-to-open doors and lids. About every 3 months, pry the plastic caps off the door hinges and squirt in enough oil to fill the chambers. Press the plug back into the hinge after filling. Lightly oil the door check pivots. Finally, spray graphite lock lubricant onto your key and insert it into the door lock a few times.
