System Voltage Malfunction

Possible Causes:



Check for high resistance at the battery connections or at the Underhood Fuse Block power circuit connection to the PCM
 
Check the drive belt for excessive wear and the proper tension
 
Check the condition of the battery and the Generator output
 
Vehicle may have been used to jump-start another vehicle

Control Module ROM Malfunction

Possible Causes:



The PCM must be replaced to correct this problem. A new PCM must be programmed with the correct software/calibration.

Possible Causes:



Reprogram the PCM with the correct software and calibration. If this step does not correct the problem, the PCM must be replaced and programmed with the correct software/calibration.

An interruption to the PCM main power and/or ground circuits
 
Check the PCM power and ground circuits and make repairs as necessary. Clear the codes and recheck. If it resets, the PCM must be replaced and programmed with the correct software.
