The Service Indicator will light on starting the car. A row of green LEDs will illuminate when the ignition is switched ON. The Service Indicator is extinguished once the engine is started and no service is due. There are 5 green LEDs and as they count down from 5 to 1, they are indicating that it is getting closer to a service. When it is time for a service, the yellow LED will illuminate along with the inscription "OIL" or "INSPECTION" and will stay illuminated while the engine is running. If the car is not serviced within the maintenance interval, a red LED will illuminate along with the yellow LED and the inscription. If the red LED is illuminated, try to avoid driving the car and have the service performed immediately.
