Bleeding the Brake System

Print

The brake bleeding should be completed with the use of a brake fluid changer. Connect the bleeder unit to the brake fluid reservoir and turn the unit on.

  1. Remove the heater bulkhead to access the brake fluid reservoir.
  2.
  3. Connect a bleeder hose with a suitable container to the bleeder valve on the right rear caliper. Open the bleeder valve and purge the fluid until clear, bubble-free fluid appears.
  4.
  5. Close the bleeder valve.
  6.
  7. Repeat this procedure at each wheel in the following order:
    1. Right rear
    2.
    3. Left rear
    4.
    5. Right front
    6.
    7. Left front
    8.

  8.
  9. Switch off the bleeder unit and remove from the brake fluid reservoir.
