Removal & Installation



Wiper Motor

Specific to:

Honda CR-V 2007-2008

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Open the tailgate, and remove the tailgate lower panel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the cap (A), mounting nut (B), wiper arm (C), and special nut (D).

  7. Disconnect the 4P connector (A), from the rear window wiper motor (B).
  8.  
  9. Remove the 3 bolts and wiper motor.

  10.  

To install:

  1. Install the wiper motor in the reverse order of removal.
  2.  
  3. Tighten mounting bolts and nuts to 84 inch lbs. (10 Nm).

Wiper Washer

Specific to:

Honda CR-V 2007-2008

The rear wiper washer utilizes the front wiper washer reservoir and a special 2-way pump. To service the motor/pump or wiper washer reservoir, refer to Front Wiper Washer, removal & installation.


WARNING
When servicing the washer pump, be careful not to damage the washer pump seal. Do not operate the washer pump before filling the washer reservoir; to do so could result in premature pump failure.
