Removal & Installation

  1. Drain the coolant.
  2.  
  3. Remove the radiator support brackets.
  4.  
  5. Remove the cooling fans.
  6.  
  7. Remove the 2 upper condenser mounting bolts.
  8.  
  9. Raise and support the vehicle.
  10.  
  11. Disconnect the lower transaxle oil cooler line from the radiator.
  12.  
  13. Disconnect the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
  14.  
  15. Remove the front air deflector.
  16.  
  17. Remove the lower condenser mounting bolts.
  18.  
  19. Remove the radiator side seal push pins.
  20.  
  21. Separate the side seals from the radiator.
  22.  
  23. Lower the vehicle.
  24.  
  25. Remove the radiator.
  26.  

To install:

  1. Install the radiator into the insulator in the frame.
  2.  
  3. Install the upper condenser mounting bolts and tighten to 58 inch lbs. (6.5 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Raise and support the vehicle.
  6.  
  7. Install the lower condenser mounting bolts and tighten to 58 inch lbs. (6.5 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Push the lower transaxle oil cooler lines into the radiator until you hear the lines engage.
  10.  
  11. Gently tug out on the oil cooler lines to verify that the lines are engaged into position.
  12.  
  13. Connect the lower radiator hose to the radiator.
  14.  
  15. Slide the clamp into the original position on the hose.
  16.  
  17. Install the side seal pushpin into the radiator.
  18.  
  19. Ensure that all seals are in place around the radiator.
  20.  
  21. Lower the vehicle.
  22.  
  23. Install the cooling fans.
  24.  
  25. Install the radiator supports.
  26.  
  27. Fill the cooling system with coolant.
  28.
