Removal & Installation



  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
    CAUTION
    Do NOT remove an air supply pipe in an attempt to depressurize the air suspension. Always follow the Air Suspension Depressurization Procedure. Refer to Air Suspension Depressurization Procedure . Failure to follow this procedure may cause personal injury or damage to the vehicle.

  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4.  
  5. Depressurize the air suspension system.
    NOTE
    Before disconnecting the air hoses from the intake air filter or the air compressor note the location of each hose. Clean the components and the surrounding area to prevent dirt and other foreign material from entering the Electronically Controlled Air Suspension (ECAS) system.

  7. Remove the air compressor assembly.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the air hose from the air dryer.
  10.  
  11. Remove the air compressor nuts and washers.
  12.  
  13. Remove the air compressor with the dryer from the bracket.

  15. Install the air compressor with the dryer to the bracket.
  16.  
  17. Install the air compressor nuts and washers.
  18.  
  19. Connect the air hose to the air dryer. Ensure the air hose is fully seated into the air dryer.

  21. Install the air compressor assembly.
  22.  
  23. Pressurize the air springs. Refer to Air Suspension Pressurization Procedure.
  24.  
  25. Lower the vehicle.
