Removal & Installation



  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the ABS sensor wiring harness from the stabilizer shaft link.
  4.  
  5. Remove the stabilizer shaft control link retaining nuts.

  7. Remove the stabilizer shaft control link.
  8.  

To install:


NOTE
Apply threadlocker 242 or equivalent to the threads of the stabilizer shaft link.

  1. Install the stabilizer shaft link.
  2.  
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft link retaining nuts. Tighten the nuts to 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Connect the ABS sensor wiring harness to the stabilizer shaft link.

  7. Install the tire and wheel.
  8.  
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10.  

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  2.  
  3. Raise and support the vehicle.
  4.  
  5. Remove the stabilizer control link bolt and nut.
  6.  
  7. Remove the stabilizer control link washers, insulators, and spacer.

To install:

  1. Install the stabilizer link insulators, washers, spacer, nut and bolt.
  2.  
  3. For (FE1) and FE3) suspensions, tighten the stabilizer link nut to 13 ft. lbs. (17 Nm). For (FE7) suspension tighten to 17 ft. lbs. (23 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Lower the vehicle.
