CMP Sensor Circuit High Input

Trouble Code Conditions: Engine started; at less than 4000 rpm, and the PCM detected the CMP sensor signal was in a high voltage state when it should have been in a low voltage state for 1.5 seconds.

CMP sensor signal circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to VREF
 
Camshaft reluctor wheel is damaged or foreign material present
 
CMP sensor is contacting the reluctor wheel or is damaged
 
PCM has failed
