Cooling Fan Relay

  1. Remove the relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
  2.  
  3. Measure the resistance of the relay. Standard resistance is as follows:
    NOTE
    If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.



    Tester connection 3-5; 10 OHMS or higher
     
    Tester connection 3-5; Below 1 OHMS (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

    1. Install the relay to the engine room No. 2 relay block.

Cooling Fan Relay No. 2

  1. Remove the relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
  2.  
  3. Measure the resistance of the relay. Standard resistance is as follows:
    NOTE
    If the result is not as specified, replace the relay.



    Tester connection 3-4; Below 1 OHMS
     
    Tester connection 3-5; 10 OHMS or higher
     
    Tester connection 3-4; 10 OHMS or higher (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)
     
    Tester connection 3-5; Below 1 OHMS (when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

    1. Install the relay to the engine room No. 2 relay block.

  1. Remove the relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
