Engine Oil Life System Reset Instructions    
1). Begin with the engine off and the key in the Lock position.    
2). Turn key to the On position    
3). Press and release the stem located at the lower center of the instrument cluster until the Oil Life message is displayed.    
4). Wait for the Oil Life and Reset message appear, then press and hold the stem down until several beeps are heard.    
5). Turn the key to theLock position.    
1When the CHANGE ENGINE OIL light appears, certain services and inspections are required.
2Required services are described as MaintenanceI and MaintenanceII.
3Alternate between the 2thereafter. However, in some cases, MaintenanceII may be required more often.
4MaintenanceI:Use MaintenanceI if the CHANGE ENGINE OIL light comes on within 10months since
5vehicle was purchased or, if Maintenance II was performed.
6MaintenanceII:Use MaintenanceII if the previous service performed was MaintenanceI.
7Always use Maintenance II whenever the CHANGE ENGINE OIL light comes on 10 months or more
8since the last service, or, if the CHANGE ENGINEOIL light has not come on at all for one year.
