Removal & Installation
- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
Remove or disconnect the following:
Install or connect the following:
NOTEThe steering knuckle-to-strut bolts will not be tightened to specifications until after camber corrections have been made.
NOTEBefore installing the bolts for the caliper, run an M12 x 1.5 tap through the holes and coat the new bolts with a thread locking compound.
Strut into the strut tower
Stabilizer shaft link to the strut. Torque the nut to 48 ft. lbs. (65 Nm).
Brake caliper and bracket to the steering knuckle. Torque the bracket bolts to 70 ft. lbs. (95 Nm) plus a 37 degree turn.
- Adjust the wheel alignment.
- Torque the steering knuckle-to-strut bolts to 52 ft. lbs. (70 Nm).
- Road test the vehicle.
