  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Remove nuts, retainers and grommets from the links at the stabilizer bar.
  4.  
  5. Remove the links mounting nuts and bolts from the axle brackets.
  6.  
  7. Remove the stabilizer bar clamps from the body rails. Remove the stabilizer bar.
  8.  

To install:

  1. Inspect stabilizer bar bushings. Replace bushings if cracked, cut, distorted, or worn.
  2.  
  3. Position the stabilizer bar on the body rail and install the bushings and clamps. Ensure the bar is centered with equal spacing on both sides. Tighten the bolts to 40 ft. lbs. (75 Nm)
  4.  
  5. Install the links and grommets onto the stabilizer bar and axle brackets.
  6.  
  7. Tighten the link nuts at the axle bracket to 70 ft. lbs. (95 Nm)
  8.  
  9. Tighten the link nuts at the stabilizer bar to 27 ft. lbs. (36 Nm)
  10.  
  11. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
  12.  

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Remove the front splash shield.
  4.  
  5. Remove the stabilizer bar link upper nut & bolt.
  6.  
  7. Remove the two stabilizer bushing clamp bolts .
  8.  
  9. Remove the stabilizer bar .
  10.  

To install:

  1. Install the stabilizer bar to the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Install the stabilizer bushing clamp and tighten the bolts to 105 ft. lbs. (142 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Install the upper stabilizer link and tighten nut & bolt to 100 ft. lbs. (135 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the front splash shield.
  8.  
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10.
