1969-72 two wheel drive models have coil spring rear suspension with the axle located by long control arms. All other models have leaf spring rear suspension. Staggered rear shock absorbers are used, 1973-82, to control axle hop on acceleration and braking. Heavy duty shock absorbers and springs have been available on most models.
