  1. Remove the armrest pad (or armrest on the custom trim option), window regulator handle, and the remote control mirror escutcheon, if so equipped.
  2.  
  3. Remove the screw in the remote handle pocket. Also remove the remote handle escutcheon on the custom trim option.
  4.  
  5. Remove the screw at the front lower corner on the standard trim left door.
  6.  
  7. With tool BT-7323A, J-24595B or equivalent inserted between the trim panel and the door inner panel, pry each trim retainer and trim panel away from the inner panel.
  8.  
  9. Make sure that all the trim retainers are securely fastened and not damaged.
  10.  

To install:

  1. Insert the remote handle and the mirror remote control, if so equipped through the proper holes in the trim panel.
  2.  
  3. Position the trim panel so that the retainers are aligned with the attaching holes in the inner panel and tap the retainers into the holes with the palm of your hand or a rubber mallet.
  4.  
  5. Reinstall the screws and other components.
  6.

  1. Remove the screw in the remote handle pocket. Also remove the remote handle escutcheon on the custom trim option.
  2.  
  3. Carefully disengage the escutcheon from the inside door pull handle retainer using a suitable prytool to expose the attaching screws.
  4.  
  5. With tool BT-7323A, J-24595B or equivalent inserted between the trim panel and the door inner panel, pry each trim retainer and trim panel away from the inner panel.
  6.  
  7. Make sure that all the trim retainers are securely fastened and not damaged.
  8.  

To install:

  1. Insert the remote handle and the mirror remote control, if so equipped, through the proper holes in the trim panel.
  2.  
  3. Position the trim panel so that the retainers are aligned with the attaching holes in the inner panel and tap the retainers into the holes with the palm of your hand or a rubber mallet.
  4.  
  5. Reinstall all previously removed items.
