  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the radio knobs (pull off), the shaft nuts, and the clock knob.
  4.  
  5. Remove the instrument cluster bezel (trim plate) attaching screws; there are three at the top and one each in the two lower corners. Pull the bezel slightly rearward.
  6.  
  7. Remove the headlamp shaft and knob.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the accessory switch wiring.
  10.  
  11. Remove the bezel.
  12.  
  13. Remove the four screws holding the instrument cluster to the instrument panel.
  14.  
  15. Disconnect the shift indicator cable from the steering column shift bowl on models with automatic transaxle.
  16.  
  17. Pull the cluster towards you and disconnect the speedometer cable and instrument electrical connections.
  18.  
  19. Remove the instrument cluster. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  1. Remove the steering column trim cover.
  2.  
  3. Lower the steering column.
  4.  
  5. Remove the four screws holding the instrument panel trim cover to the panel.
  6.  
  7. Pull the trim cover rearward and disconnect the switch wiring, and the remote control mirror cable if your car has one. Remove the trim panel.
  8.  
  9. Remove the four screws holding the instrument cluster to the panel.
  10.  
  11. Disconnect the shift indicator cable from the steering column shift bowl, if your Omega has an automatic transaxle.
  12.  
  13. Pull the cluster towards you and disconnect the speedometer cable and electrical wiring.
  14.  
  15. Remove the instrument cluster. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the speedometer cluster trim plate. There is one screw in each corner.
  4.  
  5. Remove the screws attaching the steering column trim cover to the instrument panel and remove the trim cover.
  6.  
  7. Remove the four cluster attaching screws.
  8.  
  9. With automatic transaxle, disconnect the shift indicator cable, marking the cable location on the steering column shift bowl prior to disconnecting.
  10.  
  11. Disconnect the speedometer cable and pull the cluster towards you. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the back of the cluster and remove the cluster. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the radio and accessory switch knobs.
  4.  
  5. Remove the instrument panel trim plate.
  6.  
  7. With automatic transaxle, disconnect the shift indicator cable from the steering column shift bowl.
  8.  
  9. Remove the four cluster attaching screws.
  10.  
  11. Disconnect the speedometer cable and electrical wiring from the back of the cluster. Remove the cluster. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
