  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the motor lead wire.
  4.  

If equipped with A/C, disconnect the cooling tube.

  1. If equipped, remove the ground wire from the blower motor housing.
  2.  
  3. Remove the blower-to-case screws, then carefully withdraw the blower.
  4.  
  5. If necessary, remove the retaining nut to separate the motor and wheel. To install:
  6.  
  7. If removed, install the wheel to the motor and secure using the retaining nut.
  8.  
  9. Insert the blower motor into the module and secure using the case screws. If applicable, be sure to position the ground wire under the appropriate case screw before tightening.
  10.  
  11. If equipped with A/C, connect the cooling tube.
  12.  
  13. Engage the motor electrical connector(s).
  14.  
  15. Connect the negative battery cable, then check for proper motor operation.
  16.
