The Vehicle Emission Control Information Label is located in the engine compartment (fan shroud, radiator support, hood underside, etc) of every car produced by General Motors. The label contains important emission specifications and setting procedures, as well as a vacuum hose schematic with various emissions components identified.

Because the label will often contain information regarding to mid-production updates or changes, you should always differ to the information or procedures located on the label when servicing your vehicle.

Always follow the timing procedures on this label when adjusting ignition timing.
